    Hi :) bapak Herman Wenas!
Nice talking to you online today.
It's been a long time since we met last time in Seoul..
But I'm really happy to see you again walking in the US for the vision of MB-Gen.
I know how hard the walking is since I've also done 500km walking, which was far shorter compared to yours but still painful enough.. When I finished the walking, I found that I would have not done it without support of many friends.
So I am happy to be one of your friends who will support you until you finish your journey.

Enjoy your walking, Bersemangat, For the next generation :)

Hope to see you again soon in Seoul or in Jakarta.. :)

How come he can't be like you, a learner... You always like to learn and from the time I met you I know you are someone who really cares to your people, especially the young people. Ok, here's what I think about this great project... First of all, I received this information from Wenas himself by email. Frankly, I was mad at him because we have known each other for so long and he mentioned a couples of times about his hobby of traveling by walking but he never even told me that it will be 40,000 km of walking... After that I begin to realize his determination because he's been having this in his mind after so many years (he mentioned about his desire to travel by walking around the end of '87! Yes, Wenas! I remember that... because after that you went to California and we've never met ever since 'til 2005). I know you can do it man! If you have this strong determination for so long in your heart, then it's time to let it out right, my man? I'm really proud knowing such a man with such a vision and a BIG heart! We have to meet man...and I don't wanna hear you can't... Because I always remember you as the guy who always say, "I can" (and then after that you got confused of what to do. Remember Bob? He's crazy because everytime you said that he became frustated because you wouldn't give up and let anyone else tried... Hahaha! You really are crazy but have a strong will). Tell me when you're in States and I'll help you out! Again, I don't wanna hear "No", ok man?

    Dear MBgen’ers…

    Here’s one from Bali….
First met one of MbGen members, Mr Herman Wenas, when I was korea….sometimes fall 2006 (can’t recall the specific date), yet still remember clearly one statement that Wenas said to me when I asked,

“why did you want to do all this?”…

He answered, “It was for what my parents have taught and done, that is to sacrifice for others”.
Yeap, just that one line that touched and struck me.
I think he wasn’t the only one who actually ever has that kind of passion. I was one of those who had that “thought” somewhere in my teenage year, yet I wasn’t one who actually seriously thinking to take such action, like what these Mbgen crews are doing…..

I believe, many Indonesians or just anyone, ever had that idea – of being someone who can be useful for others – yet do not know how and where to start.

Mb-gen can be a channel where we all can start to contribute in our special ways; it may be just some words of encouragement, yet at least we know we’re making our little steps towards the passion we used to have …some practical actions to make our dream becomes reality

So… again, Mb’gen-ers… what you guys doing are really great, two thumbs up…
Don’t give up and keep pressin’ on…

    Jo-jo, Nusa Dua - Bali

I heard about this project from my friend's email. I went to Indonesia a couples of years ago and I think it is a great and beautiful country. I also see it from your videos in www.youtube.com/mbgenvideo about Indonesia, and I think since you have a very big country, your children, who will inherit it, deserve the right education to manage it. And this project is one of the way to provide right education for the children. Go for it!
