About Us
BACKGROUND
In 2004, Herman Wenas started preparing himself to walk around the world. He is motivated by his parent examples that really concern to the young people education. He was then motivated to be such a good example to his son. In 2006, a team called "Melangkah Bagi Generasi (MB-Gen)" - or Taking Step for Generation - was assembled under Melangkah Bagi Generasi Indonesia Foundation. In 2007, "Walking around the World for Future Generation" project was officially started with a 1,000 km walking journey in Indonesia by Herman Wenas.
VISION
To raise fund for the children's education and to build a LIFE SKILLS EDUCATION CENTER where young people can receive free trainings on Character Building, Leadership Skills, Entrepreneurship, Basic Health & Nutrition, and Environmental Preservation Training in order to build a FUTURE GENERATION that care for other and their environment.
MISSION
1.To walk around the world by Herman Wenas.
2. To held free trainings on Character Building, Leadership Skills, Entrepreneurship, and Environmental Preservation in Indonesia.
3. To held "Free Medication for the Needy" event and free training on Basic Health and Nutrition in Indonesia.
4. To held Student Marching in Indonesia as a commitment from the young generation to take steps forward.

South Korea (Busan - Daegu - Gumi - Daejeon - Seoul), +/- 700 km.
Canada & USA (Vancouver - Seattle - Portland - San Fransisco - Los Angeles), +/- 2,500 - 3,000 km.
New Zealand
2009:
Japan (Osaka - Tokyo), +/- 500 - 700 km.
Brazil (Rio de Janeiro - Sao Paolo - Brasilia), +/- 1,500 - 2,000 km.
